Chicago: An elderly American woman has been declared the world’s oldest skydiver after a skydiving demonstration hoping to be given.
104-year-old Dorothy Hoffner performed tandem skydiving in Chicago, Illinois, USA. In tandem skydiving, two people jump from an airplane strapped together and stay together until the end of the demonstration.

After jumping from a height of 4,100 meters and landing on the ground, Dorothy told the crowd that age is just a number.
Earlier, Sweden’s Linnea Ingegard held the record for the oldest skydiver by skydiving at the age of 103 in May 2022. But according to local media, the skydiving company ‘Skydive Chicago’ is making efforts to name Guinness World Record holder Dorothy Hoffner.
Dorothy made her first skydive at the age of 100.
